Attitudes of Adults to Sanitation Facilities in Ibadan

THE AVAILABILITY of sanitation facilities throughout the world is important to the improve ment of health. A study was done in selected areas of Ibadan City, Nigeria to determine the attitudes and use of sanitation facilities by the city's residents. The findings indicate that the general attitudes are not favourable to the use of sanitation facilities and there is a prevailing belief that the facilities should be provided and maintained by the Government.
