Report of Joint Advisory Committee on Hygiene and Food Manufacture appointed by the Royal Sanitary Institute and the Food Group of the Society of Chemical Industry

A joint advisory committee comprising members of the Royal Sanitary Institute and of the Food Group of the Society of Chemical Industry was set up in I950 to suggest practical measures of hygiene and sanitation in various sections of the food industry. With the added goodwill of the trade associations and the research association of the baking industry, it has been possible to prepare the following recommendations and comments as the Joint Committee's first contribution towards this end.
